Senior Product Designer owns end-to-end experience design for CodePath's learning platform, including user flows, design systems, and AI-powered learning interfaces.
CodePath is an AI-native organization building pathways into tech for the next generation of engineers, CTOs, and founders. We deliver industry-vetted technical courses and programs to learners across the country.
We operate with the pace and ownership culture of a technical startup. Our team runs on Claude, partners with Anthropic, and uses AI as a core part of how we work. The problems here are technically hard, the impact is visible, and the people are sharp.
With 40,000+ learners and alumni from 1,100+ colleges now working at 4,050 companies, including Amazon, Google, and Meta, we are reshaping who leads tech and how the industry gets built.
About the Role
Location: Remote (United States, Europe, Canada, or LATAM)
Role Type: Full-Time
Reporting to: VP of Engineering
Compensation: $148,000 to $190,000 per year for US-based applicants. Adjusted contingent on location for applicants based in Canada, LATAM, and Europe.
CodePath’s educational programs run on our learning platform, a set of applications with functionality spanning admissions, course delivery, grading, career coaching, and reporting. These tools have been amazingly effective, but we’re increasingly seeing our limited design bandwidth holding us back in our efforts to take them further.
We’re looking for our first Senior Product Designer to own the experience design of the platform: how a flow is structured, how people navigate, how an interaction feels. You’ll also own the design system that keeps everything coherent as the platform grows.
This is a hands-on individual contributor role. You’ll own the work end to end: talk to the people who use our products, decide how an experience should work, and hand engineers something they can build from.
We focus on what’s most impactful for our students: the quality of the experience. A UI-focused contractor is available to you as a resource, and you’ll set the direction they execute against.
The ideal candidate is a designer inspired by potential projects like these:
Designing the Learner Hub, the student-facing part of our Career Mobility OS: personalized career roadmaps, skills tracking, and employer-connected pathways
Building and owning CodePath’s first design system: its interaction patterns and components
Untangling and redesigning the core platform areas no single product manager owns today, like accounts, onboarding, and navigation
Designing the interfaces for AI-powered learning tools, including tutoring, coaching, and grading
Key Activities
Design end-to-end user flows, navigation, and information architecture across the platform, and document them as wireframes and specifications engineers can build from
Own CodePath’s design system: the interaction patterns, components, and standards that keep the platform consistent
Run lightweight product discovery. Talk to students, staff, and internal stakeholders to define what’s needed, especially for platform areas and internal tools that no product manager owns
Partner with product managers to turn prioritized initiatives into build-ready designs, and with engineers to resolve design questions as they build
Direct a UI design contractor to extend your output
Set and hold the bar for experience quality across the product
Qualifications
6+ years designing web products end-to-end, with a portfolio that shows your thinking on flows and structure and the process behind your work
Strong information architecture and interaction design skills. You can take an ambiguous problem and produce a clear flow, navigation model, and spec
Experience running your own discovery: talking to users and stakeholders to figure out what’s needed rather than waiting for a fully specified brief
Experience building or contributing to a design system
Fluency producing engineer-ready artifacts (wireframes, prototypes, specs) in Figma or a comparable tool
Comfort with ambiguity and small-team dynamics. You’ve worked without a large design org around you and know how to prioritize without perfect information
Strong written and verbal communication
Passion for education and desire to make a positive impact
Nice to Haves
Experience designing for education, marketplaces, or data-heavy products
Experience as the first or an early design hire on a team
Working familiarity with how AI and LLM features change product design
Enough front-end fluency (HTML, CSS, Tailwind) to collaborate closely with engineers and judge what’s feasible
Compensation
CodePath has standardized salaries based on the position’s level, no matter where you live. For this role, we’re hiring for an individual contributor position at an annual salary of $148,000 to $190,000 per year for US-based applicants. Adjusted contingent on location for applicants based in Canada, LATAM, and Europe. Salary is determined based on your relevant experience and skills as evaluated through our interview process.

Director leads a product design team building financial infrastructure tools, setting design vision while staying hands-on with shipping and customer advocacy.
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $200B in annualized spend flows in and out of 70,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.
We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.
The median Ramp customer saves 5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.
If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
Design at Ramp looks very different than it did a year ago; our designers are building tools, agents, designing memory, shipping PRs, and rethinking the entire process every few months as new capabilities are unlocked.
Just as importantly, some things have not changed about our jobs:
Distilling a problem into its essence to find the simplest solution
Finding the places where craft and delight make an outsized difference
Knowing customers deeply and advocating for them
Creativity and storytelling are the things that make us human
Fun needs to be part of the practice, otherwise the output lacks soul
We’re looking for a Director of Product Design to lead a team of builders across some of our highest-priority bets. This role is for you if you’re excited by:
Leading through craft, setting vision and unlocking customer impact: you will define where a product should go, then jump into the details with the team to unblock, teach, and ship. You raise the bar through product judgment, design craft, and your ability to make everyone around you better.
Actually shipping and demonstrating real impact: You’ll start by owning a product area and team to build trust and get your bearings at Ramp, with room to take on broader leadership over time. You’ll stay close to customers and ship meaningful work alongside your designers, product managers and engineers.
Building the environment where great work comes from: clear roles, high standards, low ego, and just enough structure to keep the bar high without slowing people down. That means building a caring yet demanding structure, investing deeply in people — coaching, feedback, growth — so designers can do the best work of their careers and develop in this new age of Design.
It’s never been a more interesting time to build.
Please note that this role will require you to be comfortable with working in-person at our NYC HQ (located near Madison Square Park) at least 3 days/week.
Lead and grow a high-performing team of product designers
Own product vision and design direction across critical AI-native product areas
Partner with product and engineering to shape strategy and deliver customer impact

Jump into the work when needed to unblock teams and accelerate progress
Create clarity, raise quality, and help teams ship faster
Raise the bar for product thinking, interaction design, systems thinking, and craft
Coach designers through clear feedback, high standards, and strong mentorship
Help define how design works in an AI-native world
Build strong partnerships across product, engineering, data, and design
Experience leading and developing high-performing product design teams
Strong product judgment, design craft, and systems thinking
Track record of shipping products with meaningful customer and business impact
Deep customer empathy and comfort operating in ambiguity
Ability to influence across functions and develop exceptional talent
Active user of AI tools and excited about how AI is changing software
Founder or early-stage startup experience
Experience designing AI-native, automation, or agentic systems
Experience building workflow or operations tooling
Experience leading managers or multi-layered teams

Lead Product Designer owns end-to-end web and mobile UX for a healthcare AI platform, building design systems and simplifying complex workflows.
Headquarters: United States
Assemble is the AI platform for healthcare’s leadership; helping automate administrative work, streamline workflows, and improve team collaboration to enhance patient care.
We work closely with nursing and operations leaders to modernize how healthcare teams coordinate work, make decisions, and support each other.
We’re hiring our first full-time Product Designer to own the end-to-end experience of the Assemble web app and future companion mobile app.
You’ll be the design backbone of the team: setting the bar for product quality, building our design system from the ground up, and partnering closely with product and engineering to ship fast in a high-ambiguity environment.
This role is ideal for someone who is excited to go deep on productivity workflows, loves turning messy problems into simple, elegant interfaces, and is motivated by improving the day-to-day of leaders working in healthcare.
Own the product experience across our full web surface and future mobile app – from discovery to shipped product.
Design end-to-end flows for complex productivity workflows (task management, collaboration, automation, analytics, etc.).
Create and evolve Assemble’s design system to enable us to ship with high velocity and quality.
Prototype with modern AI tools like Cursor & Bolt to explore interactions, flows, and lightweight coded prototypes.
Partner tightly with product & engineering to define problems, shape specs, and iterate quickly based on real usage.
Run lean discovery – user interviews, lightweight usability tests, and rapid experiments to validate ideas.
Champion craft & UX quality while still shipping quickly in a startup environment.
Lay the foundations for a future design team, including processes, rituals, and documentation that others can build on.
Deeply mission-driven and excited by the idea of making healthcare work better for the people who run it.
Experienced product designer (typically 5–8+ years) with a strong portfolio of impactful work in productivity software.
Demonstrated ability to simplify complex, multi-step workflows into intuitive, delightful experiences.
Experience building or contributing to a design system (Figma libraries, tokens, component standards, usage guidelines).
Comfortable working from problem definition to polished UI – strategy, IA, interaction design, visual design, and prototyping.
Hands-on experience using modern AI tooling (e.g. Cursor, Bolt, or similar) to speed up exploration, prototyping, or implementation.
Comfortable working quickly in high ambiguity: you’re comfortable with vague problem spaces, shifting priorities, and 0→1 product work. Speed enables quality through tighter iteration cycles.
Strong product sense: you think in terms of impact, trade-offs, and user outcomes, not just visual polish.
Excellent communicator who can tell the story of your design decisions to both technical and non-technical teammates.
Experience designing for healthcare, frontline workforces, or operational tools.
Familiarity with mobile design patterns (iOS/Android) and designing with Shadcn components.
Experience as an early design hire or working in a seed/Series A startup.
Fast, iterative shipping – we bias toward small, frequent releases and learning from real usage.
Low-ego collaboration – good ideas can come from anywhere; we debate, then commit.
Ownership – as the first designer, you’ll help define how design shows up at Assemble.
Hybrid async/sync communication – thoughtful documentation, plus regular real-time design jams.

Build winning products with product teams- Embed a high design mindset into product strategy from day one — as a co-creator, not a service. Review and direct design work for strategic alignment, consistency, and quality.
Champion an innovation culture- Make innovation a habit, not an event. Introduce practices and frameworks that shift teams from reactive design to proactive, opportunity-driven thinking.
Lead with AI- Use AI tools throughout ideation, research synthesis, and rapid prototyping and design
Own market and competitive intelligence- Continuously assess the competitive landscape and translate findings into actionable design differentiators. Know what best-in-class looks like, and help us go beyond it.
Be the hub for design innovation- Serve as the go-to person for design direction, inspiration, and the push to build something genuinely better — across teams and products.
What we are looking for:
Strategic design partner- You know how to speak the language of product and business.
Innovation catalyst- You bring energy and structure to creative work. You know how to run ideation workshop, future-forward thinking and help teams commit to something bold.
Evidence-driven- You validate ideas before betting on them. You run usability tests, design and interpret A/B experiments, and use behavioural analytics to understand what users are actually doing and not just what they say.
Cross-functional operator- You work effectively with product, engineering, and leadership influencing without authority, building trust through quality of thinking and clarity of communication.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s/Master design degree, Interaction Design, Human Factors, or equivalent practical experience, AI Certification.
15+ years in UX, product design, or a related discipline, with at least 5+ years in a cross-product or strategic design role.
Proven track record of collaborating with product teams to shape strategy, not just design output.
Hands-on experience designing for intelligent recommendations, conversational interfaces, and agentic workflows.
Experience running competitive analysis and translating findings into design strategy.
Proficiency with A/B testing methodologies; ability to design experiments, interpret results, and make design decisions grounded in data.
Fluency with UX analytics tools and behavioural data — understanding user flows, drop-offs, engagement patterns, and how to act on them.
Strong portfolio with case studies demonstrating strategic thinking, process, and measurable outcomes.
Knowledge of accessibility standards (W3C, Section 508).
Tools exposure:
Figma make, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or FullStory, AI Tools.
